What you need to know about the project.
When will the Western Springs Bowl open?
The new Western Springs Bowl will be ready in two stages. The sports configuration will be ready in August, while the music configuration will be ready by October.
What shows will be at Western Springs Bowl this summer?
We're so excited to be hosting Foo Fighters in January 2027 and are looking forward to more epic show announcements over the coming months. Be sure to follow us and sign up to be the first to know about new shows!
How is this different to Western Springs Stadium?
Western Springs Bowl will replace Western Springs Stadium. The venue includes a new semi-permanent concert stage that will be installed each summer, plus two new VIP hosting areas.

How large is the venue?
With a max capacity of 50,000, Western Springs Bowl will primarily host events up to 30,000 for music and up to 5,000 for sport.

Yes! Ponsonby Rugby Club has called Western Springs its home for almost 30 years and that's not changing.
